As part of the Dive Expo weekend, don’t miss the chance to meet Elaine HICKS, author of Behind the Mask: A Freediver’s Guide to Nervous System Regulation, Recovery & Resilience.
Elaine will lead a full-day immersive workshop, The Science Behind the Calm, offering divers practical tools for interoception, emotional regulation, and deeper understanding of the mammalian dive response. The workshop combines lecture, reflection practices, and an in-water session focused on mental techniques and nervous system expansion through the dive response.
